SITE HISTORY

Site Location: The monitoring site was located in the Bridger-Teton National Forest of western Wyoming, approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Pinedale in the western foothills of the Wind River Mountain Range.

Photographic Station: The camera was located atop the ski lift on Fortification Mountain at White Pine Ski Area, approximately three kilometers east of Fremont Lake and viewed Mount Bonneville (~105°), 35.8 km.

Operational Period: Mount Bonneville Vista 09/22/86 - 04/17/94

Data Collection: Photographs were taken at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:00 daily. Approximately 7,500 35mm-color slides of the Mount Bonneville Vista were reviewed to develop the provided historical photographic archive.
